Headphone Recommendation

eZGraviity

Looking to upgrade my headset. I play mostly FPS games and having good 3D/Spatial audio support is very important for me. I'm willing to spend up to about $250 US and am looking at the two headsets below:

SteelSeries Arctis Pro

HyperX Cloud Alpha

Any input/experience with either of these two headsets or other recommendations are welcome.

I actually bought the SteelSeries Arctis Pro' 3 days ago and I am returning them asap.

I am not pleased with them in terms of sound quality and gaming. They are very comfortable, mic is great but the Software for PC is an absolute mess and they sounded very flat and had a lot of white noise when no sound being played. Not for me, extremely disappointed.  Maybe my old Beyerdynamic DT770 had me spoiled.

I picked up the Logitech pro X 2' earlier today and so far I am very happy with them. For me, they are a lot better than the Steelseries in every way except that you can't swap the batteries like with the Steelseries. Maybe you could look up reviews on the Logitech pro X 2.  Wearing them right now and they are very comfortable. I will leave the technical reviews to audio reviewers on Youtube. They do have DTS Headphone:X 2.0 for amazing 3D audio, as this was important for you. I looked up a lot of reviews on youtube for this one and decided to try them.

That being said, I will be keeping the Logitech pro X 2.

I dont know how it is where you live but are you able to buy and return products you are not satisfied with?
