Hello, I bought Bitfenix Phenom ITX a while ago and I have problems with my graphics card - it is very loud so it is overheating. There is no mesh next to it like in Prodigy so it has very little space to "breath".

My motherboard has got only one fan connector, first I connected the exhaust fan and it was bad with the GPU but it was fine with CPU. Yesterday I moved the front fan up and connected it instead, it was even worse, the fan doesn't instake anything. hot in all scenarios.

Here are the options:

Buy a 230mm fan.

Buy cables and connect both fans.

Buy cables, another fan and connect them.

Sell it and buy a Prodigy.

Sell it and buy an mATX chassis.

Water cooling (too expensive).

Which one would be best? I'd prefer responses from Prodigy/Phenom/Colossus M owners.

I had the same issue and modded the front intake so the entire mesh strips could be used for ventilation instead of the three small holes. To fix the gpu i just took the side panel off, which then let me to taking every panel of and using it like a skeleton case with no side, front or top panel which looks nice and keeps everything cool.

Fans won't help cause the phenom has near zero airflow so you'll have to buy something better like a 250d or get creative

Because the Phenom and the Prodigy are so similar the mesh side panel from a Prodigy might fit the Phemon, if so ur best bet would be the mesh side panel and a 230mm Spector Pro at the front.

@zapsyou

There needs to be a way, it completely sucks, last half year I changed my chassis 3 times, I don't want to do it again :(

@Cr0ft

Even if it mounted, it would look ugly.

Sorry, I read front panel. yeah it should be okay but where can I find it? I can buy in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Poland.

Afraid I cant really help you there, maybe caseking.de would be willing to send you one, they haven't got them listed on their site tho. Other than that it might just be eBay, when people buy the windowed side panel and want to get rid of the mesh version :)
