Hard to say. Anything could be the cause. Something could be shorting something. You need to do a lot of troubleshooting by removing every possible cause to find out.

You know you should be using an ethernet connection for games anyway, nothing can replace the reliability of a lan cable. Not just for games, I would always prefer to have my desktop wired to the router. If you can do that, just do that instead.

That does sound like a motherboard issue. Sounds like the USB ports, wifi, and Bluetooth are all going out under strain? Not sure what would cause that. But it does sound like it's the motherboard.

What cpu and gpu are you using? Do they seem to continue functioning as normal?

Might check for shorts on the back of the board. I've seen all sorts of problems from a spare screw that fell behind the motherboard before.

I have also had XMP settings cause issues on this generation of boards. I haven't had an issue like this, but it might be something to check in your bios.

Problems I normally have with XMP is windows memory crashes under strain, but I've seen motherboards do weirder things before. The XMP should be off by default. Might turn it on and see if you still have the issue. If it's on maybe shut it off and also check that.

I will try that I'm running a Ryzen 7 5700x with a 2070 super and they do function as normal my mouse will stop working witch is connected via wireless dongle but my keyboard will still work it's the weirdest issue but otherwise I think I might unfortunately just have to exercise the warranty and get a different board
