Can't Find Compatible I/O Shield

Go to solution Solved by YoungBlade,

The motherboard should come with its IO shield.

Have you bought the board yet? If it wasn't included in the box, that was a mistake - either you got a returned item where the person didn't put back in the IO shield, or it was a mistake when packaging the motherboard at the factory.

I am planning on purchasing the Gigabyte B760M C Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard, and I can't seem to find a rear I/O shield for the motherboard. I know that I don't need it, but I would like it. I can make a cardboard one, but I prefer the nice metal ones. if anyone could find me one, that would be greatly appreciated

I didn't buy it, I just didn't see anything about a shield anywhere on the product page.

Any new motherboard you purchase will either A) have the I/O shield included, or B) on many newer, nicer boards, have the I/O shield integrated so that there is no need to insert it into the case as a separate piece.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
