Win10 or Win11?

I'm gonna do a clean install on my rig soon and I was wondering if I should stick with Win10 or if I should try 11.

 

For context, for both of them I'll be using Rufus. Is there anything else I need to do in order to make Win11 have less telemetry or is Rufus enough?

 

Also is Win11 easily customizable? Because from what I've seen from it I didn't quite like the new looks that much

is Win10 your first OS?  If not, try 11.  If it is, then stick with it.  Changing an OS may be a shock

Use either, they're basically the same thing for 99.99% of users.  Rufus is fine, telemetry isn't a big deal and I haven't had issues, I use a VPN and surf more porn than 10 of you all.  The Feds haven't stopped by yet.

At this point you might as well use Windows 11 since the death date for 10 is steadily approaching.

It's definitely not my first OS lol, but if they're mostly the same then I'll go with 11. It's just that I've seen some people say that telemetry was quite bad on 11 and I wanted to know if Rufus was enough to dial it down a bit

That's a good point but isn't Win 10 death at the end of 2025 or something? If it is then I would have plenty of time to do a fresh install before that happens

Like October yeah. Time flies though and you may as well get used to 11 ahead of the death date.
