Budget (including currency): £500-550

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fortnite, r6 , FIFA, gta 6 , ark

Other details Hey there, I already have a pc with a 2060 and a i5 10400f and I would like to upgrade the both of them. I have looked through many YouTube videos showing the best pairings and have noticed a common theme , and that is to go with a ryzen 5600x or 7600x with either a radeon 6600xt or 7600xt. As far as my knowledge goes I thought that nvidia GPUs were better. I have also seen that with ryzen CPUs you need to get a certain motherboard, could anyone help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Just a new CPU and GPU? What motherboard and power supply do you have? And yeah Nvidia can be better but AMD has better value offerings for your money

I have a b560m steel legend but im not sure of my power supply unfortunately

Hmm. An I7-11700F (£183) + an RTX 4060 (about £280) as well as the A750GL Why_Me mentioned (£89) adds up to about £550 total. (Prices on UK PC Part Picker.) The 6750 XT from AMD is also considerable in this price range (about £320?) and slightly faster from what I remember but it lacks the Nvidia ray tracing. Also do some research on different models of either graphics card (like MSI, Gigabyte, Sapphire, etc.) The 4060 also had some drama with the 128 bit bus and only has 8 GB of VRAM while the 6750 XT has 12 GB. Consider that as well as that means the 4060 will lag behind in a nearer future

If you're planning to get a different kind of motherboard than your current one (the B560M is an LGA 1200) disregard my CPU recommendation.
