How to make a macro which changes peripherals

Hi, in terms of peripherals I am using an Everest keyboard and as a mixer I am using a GOXLR. I am a bit new to macros so not sure if im completely misled or am just a noob at this and couldnt find anyone with the same hardware and solution. 

 

On the keyboard there are 4 mappable buttons and my aim is to change 2 to macros to change which profile my GOXLR is using so essentially one to turn it on and one to put it to sleep. I presume I would make the Macro then in command prompt or elsewhere I would type run then the name of the profile on GOXLR that i want however this doesnt work and can't fiund a way of changing profile without being in the app.
