Budget: Preferably less than 2000 aud

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I just want to play modern AAA games at decently high fps and i want to play all the games i bought when i had a cheap windows pc (I have a macbook for school right now)

Other details: I already have peripherals and a 165hz 1080p monitor. I'm just here looking for a better/cheaper case or anything else that can be changed to reduce cost or increase performance easily.

The Gigabybte K motherboard isn't that great, so changed that and replaced your very high latency RAM with better.  Otherwise it's good.  Can shave some with a cheaper case, but that's a subjective call and if you like it, keep it..

That CL40 RAM is going to be a bottleneck seeing how games take advantage of low latency. Try this build ... the 120mm fan goes inside the back of that case for a rear exhaust fan.
