Entry level 3d printer

Idkwhattodowithmylife

So i want an entry level 3d printer froma known brand like creality. I was thinking of a ender 3 neo which is 220$ cad currently. I was wondering if there are any cheaper but still good 3d printers, preferably on Amazon

At USD 160 this could be your best option:

automatic bed levelling

silent stepper

classic extruder (print an upgrade part for it if you want to touch TPU)

classic display with marlin firmware

print a filament holder. Can be beneficial to not place the spool on top.

v-roller ain't great but that's what the budget dictates

hotend? no clue. V6 aren't black magic. If it's PTFE aligned it should be rock solid. If it's full metal it depends but nothing you couldn't fix with a $50 upgrade.

Disclaimer: I no longer keep an eye on the ultra budget market so I might be wrong.

Would maybe look at resin over FFF then. They’re weaker in the X and Y dimensions, stronger in Z and you get much better resolution

Resin is a big no.

Operating it safely takes knowledge and some budget.

If you want details buy a 0.2mm nozzle. You can get 0.1mm (still waiting for my) but from what I heard they are challenging.

TL;DR At this budget you will have difficulty finding a better printer. It will have imperfections.

Really doesn’t, it’s very simple.

I’ve used 0.1mm nozzles, detail is nowhere near resin. Plus without expensive printers you’re not going to get a good quality print at that layer height.

Or you could just go with resin because it’s not difficult nor dangerous.

If it is simple you work in a lab with all the equipment or do it wrong. There isn't any option you can do it safe at this budget.

1. environment risk

2. skin contact

3. vapour

(4. oral isn't much of an issue but could be due to cross contamination)

5. storage of flammable liquids

Yeah .... FFP2 mask, place it in the garage and a single layer of budget latex gloves.... That might be simple and cheap but is utterly inadequate.

Low end for such setup would be closer to $500. If you need a filter as you can't vent to the outside that's another $300-800.
