Virtual Harddrive on an SSD?

Go to solution Solved by xox,

Yes, very much so

Hello everybody,

I'm currently working a lot with virtual machines. They work fine for me, but one ossue occurs: My harddrive is painfully slow. I work with VirtualBox, which creates a virtual harddrive, on which linux is installed. I have a spare 64GB SSD (Adata SP900) laying around. Would those virtual HDDs profit from being put on a SSD?
