D5 Pump Question

Hi all,

 

Probably a silly question but are all D5 pumps pretty much the same?

 

In a few days time my Hyte Y60 Corner Distro plate arrives so I'll need to get my self a pump.

 

Never dealt with a 'pump-only' so just wanted to make sure I was getting the right thing.

I have asked myself this before, but hoping I never needed to find a answer anytime time soon. I only have Freezemod and a Bykski pump from Aliexpress which have been running over 3 years good good now. These 2 seem to have identical mounting sizes and dimensions. I don't know if that link below can answer anything, because I even read the pump I have may not be compatible with some D5 pump covers. Maybe the products you listed are more of a standard.

Next time I buy a new D5 pump I'm going to get one with a manual speed switch.

there not the same but there close enough. some people have had bad ones some dont and last 10+ years... 🤷‍♂️

I know they're expensive but I have gone ahead and ordered the EK G3 pump so hopefully it will do the trick.
