13700k build questions

I don't understand the new GPU gen in terms of power delivery at all and what will be compatible down the line in terms of cables (year or two). Any help would be much appreciated thanks? (that's why I got 850w to future proof)
Do you think ddr 5 + Mobo prices are worth it (especially due to ATX less availability), I don't know if it gives better frames.
Cheers
DDR5 price has come crashing down to normal pricing. Its affordable now. Yes its worth it. Especially when its not all that much more now, before it made 0 sense since DDR5 was 240$+ but now its under 100$ for 32 GB.
PSU is indeed ATX 3.0, but we have had almost a year and many more PSU's with ATX 3.0 have come out. There are plenty more choices and they are better priced than that one. Theres even a 850W Platinum Silverstone HELA for cheaper (Albiet 10$) or Thermaltakes Toughpower 850W Gold with ATX 3.0 for 160$ AUS https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/hCGbt6/thermaltake-toughpower-gf3-tt-premium-750-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ps-tpd-0750fnfagu-4
Power cable stuff is hard to say, NVIDIA may use a new improved 12v connector, and thus for 5000 series and beyond youll have to get a new PSU again if the adapters dont work well. But honestly by that time you may already be upgrading to a new system (RTX 5000 is 2025, so RTX 6000 is probably 2028ish with 3 year cycles going forward)
