I just built my first PC with an RX 7800 XT, and when the GPU goes under certain loads the display goes dark, but the signal hasn't stopped being sent, being that my monitor doesn't shut off when this happens. When this happens it requires a restart to get the display back. And like I said it's certain loads, not all. I've tried different DP ports, re-seating the GPU, updating drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers (with DDU) and more. This is stock too, no overclocks applied anywhere in the system. UPDATE: It seems to only happen when the load is not in fullscreen.

I didn't think it mattered. Lian Li SP850 PSU, Team Group T-Force Delta RGB RAM (4800 MGHz) and Intel Core i7 13700K.

i had the same problem few years ago, ended up RMA'ing my gpu and that pretty much fixed it. Consider that yourself too as your gpu as well might be unstable.

Alright. Luckily my Intel CPU has an iGPU so I can live without it for a while.
