I recently have gotten and i7 4770 k and asus maximus vi formula and before when i had my 8350 my surround worked fine but now that i have my i7 and new motherboard installed and new windows 8 installed i cant enable sli it detects the second gpu but when i click span to surround it only shows my first 770 but below it says phys x and show the grouped  i know i probably missing something very obviously but someone please help

Post some screenshots and for the love of what's holy, use some commas :))

i don't understand why screen shots are needed and sorry just really tired it 3 a.m. where i am

They help us figure out exactly what is set for what, first thing to check make sure your second card isnt dedicated physx ive done that myself :P

but yet it doesn't have maximize 3d performance or any of the other things and when i try to configure surround it wont do it with sli but only with my first card please if anyone knows how to fix this please tell me i have renistalled drivers so many times and even formatting everything and reinstalling windows and that still didn't work and i have tried multiple sli bridges 2 of which i know work so idk what else to do

Faulty Sli bridge ?, are you sure your new motherboard supports SLi ?
