Hey there,

CUKTECH emailed us asking if we would be interested in sponsorship. They sell chargers and power banks similar to Anker and UGREEN.

The reason they reached out was because of the "I said YES to everything… I regret it" video we published in early July. The brand sent over some of its products for us to vet internally, and we experienced no immediate issues with using their power banks and chargers.

If you have purchased any products from CUKTECH, we would love to hear from you.

Thanks,

Geoff

*Please note that our team does our own research and testing around vetting sponsor products and services. However, we've found that soliciting feedback from the community can sometimes add something new to the conversation that we weren't aware of*

I ain't so sure about that name…

It’s the next one. Always the next step, Dalinar."

If you think I'm wrong, correct me. If I've offended you in some way tell me what it is and how I can correct it. I want to learn, and along the way one can make mistakes; Being wrong helps you learn what's right.

I wonder if the Labs power supply tester could also test these to see if they are quality.

Though looking at some of the products on Amazon US, a lot of them have reviews that are mostly from people who were sent free samples via Amazon's Vine program.

For example the: CUKTECH 20 Power Bank, 25,000mAh 210W Total Output Portable Charger with 3 Ports

Out of the 28 reviews for the battery bank, only 2 are from non Amazon Vine users. It looks like that is a trend for a lot of their products on Amazon. Which is, a little suspicious at best.

Questionable company name aside, it looks like they might have a few issues with the Kickstarter they raised.

Lots of people reporting issues either with the product itself or delivery.

Pushing that aside and moving onto their site, some of their links don't seem to work properly and just direct back to the product listing in question, and I found this gem in their ToS:

Purchases and CS inquiries I can understand - but new product offers, promotions and "other matters" should absolutely not be a thing that I'm automatically enrolled into. I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable signing up. Not to mention there's no idea who Fantasia is either.
