I have this weird ram problem where when I put in a second stick it doesn’t matter wich slot the first one is in neither does it matter in wich slot the second on is I get a red light on my motherboard and it says something’s wrong with my ram.

motherboard is Msi b450f

cpu Ryzen 7 3700x

gpu amd radeon rx 6750xt  

please help me can’t find any solution

MSi B450F? Do you mean ASUS B450-F?

Red LED = CPU Error

Yellow LED = DRAM Error

Is the error tied to THAT one stick of RAM?

If you put in the second stick, and it comes up with an error, then it is VERY likely the memory stick is faulty.

Ah yeah I meant ASUS somehow switched it up, anyway it’s not tied to a particular stick it’s just when I add a second one
