Windows cant load account

Hey Guys,

So my friend is having trouble getting onto his computer. When he starts it up an error comes up saying "user account can't load on windows 8"

His running windows 8 on a laptop which is about 6-7 months old.

Any one know whats happening?

Is it a local or a Microsoft account? And in C:\users, is the folder for their account there with permission for his account to read it?

How often has this happened (every time across several reboots, sometimes, or just once?

he cant actually get onto the start screen or anything, cant access his files...and its everytime he boots

Is it local or Microsoft? And do you/he have the windows installation disk? Boot off it into advanced -> command prompt and type sfc /scannow (I think, it's posted in the read before asking for help sticky iirc).
