Cant get into BIOS!

Go to solution Solved by ryannuttall,

So here is what I did and somehow it worked. I tried everything.

I took out my M.2 which has my Windows on it, and my other SSD which is blank. I started up my PC and literally the screen went to sleep and never showed the MAG loading screen. I then gave up and when I did and plugged my M.2 back in, I looked at my second monitor, and boom. I saw the MAG windows screen for my motherboard. I then shut the computer down, got ready to hit the DELETE key and turned it on. I then was able to go into the BIOS and just turned off Fast Boot(This is enabled by default for some reason) and now I can get in anytime I want. Having Fastboot off is no issue to me since I usually hit the button and have to turn my headset on, other monitor on, etc.

Hello people. I have searched all over reddit, google, any everywhere and I cannot figure this out.

I recently upgraded my computer(Parts list below). I installed Windows 10 Pro and then I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro because I forgot to download the iso for Win11 first. Once that was done, I can no longer get into my BIOS. My thoughts are that the new PC doesn't recognize my keyboard(even though the LEDs are on) in time to hit Delete before my login screen. But I don't think that is the case because whenever I do smash Delete a bunch of times on boot, my screen goes to sleep! I do have Fast Boot enabled I think on my BIOS which is what I want to turn off. I read online to try holding down SHIFT and clicking restart, well my screen goes to sleep again. I have Windows on an M.2 4.0 SSD. My only thoughts from here are to pull out the M.2 and start the PC. That way windows does not load and I am hoping it will force me to get to my BIOS.

I can't update my BIOS either because I cant select the boot option before my login screen comes up. Any and all ideas are welcome but I have never seen anything like this happen. I need to get into my BIOS to configure a few things. I also have no idea how to overclock or if I even should because I never have, so that is something I wanted to play around with.

PARTS LIST:

Intel i9-12900K

Cooler Master MasterLiquid 240L CPU Cooler

MSI MAG B660 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

(Old I know, waiting on Black Friday) GeForce GTX 1070 GPU

Samsung 980 PRO SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe Gen 4 M.2 SSD

I have a hammydown 600W or 850W PSU. Not sure what brand or size.

Thank y'all for the help.

There are a few other options to try from Windows. Have a look.

Though just spamming the DEL key (or whichever key MSI uses) right after pressing the power button should work too.
