looking for suggestions, budget is around £1000 can go a little under/over

rain in july

my 3070 laptop died recently, looking for a desktop this time around, any suggestions? Mostly used for sim gaming/web development so it doesn't need to have the best specs in the world I think i'd be looking for something with at least a 3070 or better. You don't need to include a case in the price or ram and psu and storage. just cpu mobo gpu  Used parts are fine or new I'm not bothered. Thanks.

(depending on what you suggest, please suggest AIO or Air cooler thanks)

I have my old corsair case alongside new 16gb ddr4 corsair ram, have a couple of m.2 and satas ssd's and a 750w PSU I got for a previous build that I didn't end up using. So really just looking for GPU CPU and a board

Why did you buy DDR4 RAM alone ?? Now this prevents you from getting any AM5 platform and you'll have to use the slower DDR4 Intel boards...

Ok, too bad it was much more expensive atm 😛

Well and what are you planning to do on that new rig ? competitive FPS, graphics intensive slow paced adventure/ RPG, productivity???

Really a rig to play AlanWake2, to play CS2, or to make video edits are really different
