Just build my new computer
i5-12400

Gigabyte H610M K DDRR4

16gb RAM DDR4-3200 Kingston Fury

 

No-Post, No-Beep

 

Fans spinning

 

(Monitor connected to iGPU)

 

(Every component worked on a test bench

is it turning on and looking like its running, have you checked the bios for the igpu setting, make sure its not set to pcie or even auto

 

do you have a speaker plugged in to check for any post beeps?

 

everything wired up correctly, no damage to socket pins 

 

remove everything except cpu 1 stick of ram, try stick in other slot

The fan is spinning, no monitor output, no beeps from speaker connected

Did you buy those parts brand-new?

 

Try reseating the memory and clearing the CMOS.

Take all PSU cables off and go thru reconnection slowly.  Hopefully missed something.

I think the CPU is toast. First accidentally plugged in PCIe into the EPS port because I saw PCIe/CPU on the PSU and thinked its the same thing, it wasn't. But still weird that it wont give me any beep codes

Well that's the issue. Definitely killed the motherboard or CPU by doing that

Most likely CPU, mobo still works

My PSU had SCP (Short-Circuit Protection) and it saved it somehow, tested CPU in another system and worked most likely mobo dead, will investigate more on daylight

Problem Fixed! Nothing was toast, I had Two PCI-e cables and I tought one of them was EPS and one of them was PCI-e a quick consult with the manual proved me wrong, connected the EPS connector instead of the PCI-e connector and it was fixed. Most likely nothing was toast because of the Short-Circuit Protection on my PSU.
