Hello, I have riotoro 600w builders edition power supply, I want to upgrade my gpu.

Current one is gtx 1650 oc model, I want something around performance of 3060-3060ti (rx6650xt)
I wonder if my psu is good enough for this upgrade

Other components are
Ryzen 5 5600

2x8gb g skill aegis 3200mhz
1x1tb hdd

1x1tb m.2 drive

Aftermarket cooler for CPU (but this should not be a problem)

Is it safer to buy 4060 for this case as it is more efficient

It would be enough for a 3060Ti. If you're looking for a good price to performance card, get a 6700XT or a 6750XT instead. But if you care about ray tracing and DLSS, NVidia is still the way to go

And if I had 500 series motherboard I would 100% go amd because of SAM

you can still use rebar with a 5600. Also it's not a big increase in performance, but ye I'd get a 3060 ti if the 6650 xt is that much more

I can't find any reviews of this PSU, so it is hard to say. The price and the 3 year warranty are not good signs.

A 3060 would add around 100 watts (less if your 1650 has a 6 pin) and a 3060 Ti another 30 watts or so.

A 6600 or 4060 would be around 50.

A very unscientific/unreliable test would be to feel the heat at the back of the PSU, if it is super hot when you're gaming that's bad, if it is cool then you're probably good.

I will try that, I will prob be fine tho because when I was buying my pc I had a budget and i found this psu like mid range one and I have r5 5600 non x and not that much more (no sound wifi card ect.) on my mb and taking to much power
Considering 4060 & 4060ti as well, but only if they are up to 50$ more
