Ran out of displayport... How to get more??

So i have 2 monitors, 1 with HDMI and 1 with displayport. I want to get another monitor that is 240hz so i need a displayport port but i don't have any more displayport ports. How can i get more displayport ports?

You'd have to get a gpu with more display ports or use an adapter.

 

Do you actually need Display Port for 240 hz? Is the new monitor going to be 4k, or does your graphics card not have HDMI 2.1?

What graphics card do you have? Most GPUs these days have 3 ish displayports and 1 HDMI. I don't think I understand your question?

There are plenty of different versions with different port selections, we can't guess what yours has.

Which model/manufacturer? From what I can see e.g. Palit has 1x DP, 1x HDMI, 1x DVI. Pretty much every other model seems to come with 3x DP, 1x HDMI.

Check what ports your GPU has, check the pinned thread to see your options.
