I am setting up my first ever build, Umbra, which has gone extremely well for my first build, and the only thing left to do is to get Internet access. I was on a tight budget, so I did not purchase a WiFi card. I would like to know if there is a way to wirelessly connect the Cisco Linksys E1000 to another router. This would allow me to get internet via Ethernet, which is more reliable, while saving a couple(More like $20) bucks in the process. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,

What is "flashing" it?

Flashing is replacing the firmware on the router to a new one, in this case a 3rd party one called DD-WRT. This should cover every thing you need to flash it then do the rest but instead of putting it into repeater mode set it to client bridge which also means you don't set a virtual AP.
