Game Server System Requirement - Satisfactory

Hi guys,

 

Not sure if this the best place to post this or in 'Games' but will try anyway.

 

Does anyone here play Satisfactory and has tried using a home game server?

 

I'm keen to have it running on my own home server so I can have my friends connect into and contribute but really not sure my 3770k has the grunt. Maybe its a 4790k but either way, its ancient and while works perfectly for PLEX, PI-Hole and file serving, just not sure how it will hold up running a game server.

 

Does the game run on the server like it would locally? If yes, then I'll defo need an upgrade!

I would just try it out if you have it already. Then upgrade if it's needed. Minimum spec seems to be i5 3570 so it should run at least smaller saves.

Yeh,

 

Gonna give it bash over the weekend.

 

Main issue would be my main save is a 1000+ hour monster!
