Budget (including currency): TBD

Country: US

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  Gaming

Other details:  I’m in the early stages of planning a build in 10/25. It’s going to be a Linux build (I’ve used Linux on my gaming laptop for a few years, mostly play single player games, and can live with the consequences).

I was thinking that instead of the headache of trying to find parts that work together for an RGB build, I might go the other way and do a stealth build. I was thinking of building the PC in a desk or the underside of a table. I figured wall mounting hardware would work upside down in the case of an under the table build.  For those who have done a similar build before, how was the noise level? Did you run into any unexpected maintenance difficulties? Did any parts seems to wear out faster than you would have expected, (ie AIO or GPU being upside down)? I expect dust and cooling to be more of an issue with a desk drawer type setup than an under the table more open air setup.
