IS MY GPU GETTING BOTTLENECKED ?

Go to solution Solved by Tetras,

If you're happy with your frame rates then it is fine. The rest depends on the game/settings.

Personally, I'd leave it be until you upgrade your graphics card.

so my question is, is my CPU bottlenecking my gpu?

I7 6950X 4.4GHZ

32gb ddr4 quad channel @3200mhz

RTX 3070

the resolution im playing most games at is 3840x1080 samsung ultra wide.

do i need to  upgrade my cpu motherboard? or is it not worth it atm ?

Check your cpu use (per core) is it at 100%?

The single core performance on that CPU is nothing spectacular but then running a 3070 at 4k is probably not giving you a 60fps experience in the latest games anyways so I guess I would say....

Who knows? If your fps is something you are happy with then does it matter?
