try a fresh install with only the NVMe installed. I know it's annoying but it will probably fix the issue.

Hey guys i installed a nvme into my system and installed windows 10 on it. i formated the other drive (drive that had my windows on before) that was connected to my pc.

when i start the pc it wont boot into windows unless my old drive is connected even though it was formatted.

Did you install windows 10 while the old drive was still in the system? Windows has a bad habit of putting boot sectors on the wrong drive for some reason聽

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black聽(with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux聽- Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explained,聽group reg is bad

worst case.. to get bios to read the correct boot sector is reinstalling ... . delete all partitions on the nvme, as windows will build everything it needs all new..聽

it might be the quickest too.. ofcourse you can try doctoring the install etc.. but it will take longer time than just plain reinstall.聽
