A Server Pc problem

Hello everyone

 

I have a small problem, I have a server pc(ProD.Code: R1304BTLSHBN) I have tried to install Ubuntu on it but it was just stuck on a screen with a blinking underscore. The drives had a raid on it but not anymore, now if I turn it on the drives all have an orange light that blink.

 

It have 3 drives of 500GB each, Intel Xeon core, 8GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM.  

 

Should the drives be in a raid to install any OS or can I just install any OS and then Raid the drives or should I raid the Drives in the Bios ? 

 

I would appreciate any help
