Budget (including currency): 1000 USD Maximum

Country: Norway

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Easier lighter games like Minecraft, League of Legends or Timberborn. General use for school and as a Daily Driver

Other details: Some parts have already been bought, list below;

     - PSU: Corsair RM850e 80+ Gold

     - Case: Fractal Design Define Mini C (mATX or mITX)

     - Ram: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (single stick)

Remaining parts are still needed, but for now my thoughts are:
     - CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x

     - Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 - chromax black
     - Mobo: MSI PRO B550M-P GEN3 Micro ATX AM4

Realized writing this that I've forgotten entirely about storage. But it'll likely be either a Western Digital or a Samsung. I personally don't currently have a need for fast storage, so I'll look more into storage/dollar when I actually end up buying the remaining parts. GPU also is not currently on my mind, as I likely wont really be playing any video games until next year, at the earliest. So I'll look more into that when that becomes relevant.

As to using the Norwegian PcPP version, several of the prices are incorrect and higher than what is accurate, from 10$ in the case of the Noctua, to 100$ in the case of the Mobo. So take some of the prices with a grain of salt ...

Sorry for the slow reply, things are happening and I forgot about this post. I've been looking around and am considering a Intel CPU intead of AMD.

Ideally, I'd want to spend 5 to 6k for CPU + Mobo + Cooler, but no more than 7k total, storage and extra fans included. As mentioned above I've done what I should have done from the start and looked into both alternatives, and have noted down an Intel alternative to what I've opted for in terms of AMD.
Basically, as of now. I'm looking at:

- CPU: Intel i5 12400f

- Mobo: Asus Prime H600I-Plus

-- Total: 3250 Nok

or

- CPU: Ryzen 7 5700G

- Mobo: MSI PRO B550-P

-- Total: 3850 Nok

Additionally, I'm staying with the Noctua Cooler (1400 nok), because I like the look of it, I don't mind paying a lil extra there...

Thoughts..?

that's not that good of a mobo. I'd get a b series mobo at least

If you really want to do this you can. I wouldn't recommend it but sure

But I'd really consider using the stock in box cooler or an ag620 or alternative since it performs the same and is much cheaper

Thank you for your help, I'll look around and decide over the weekend. I'll definitely go for the AMD + Mobo that you've suggested, but as far as the cooler or storage, I'll still look around some myself, and decide later on. I'm trying to do an entirely black build, so that'll have an effect on choices, obviously..
