Ideal fan configuration

I have a Lian Li lan cool 216 and have all the fan bays populated by noctua nf-a12x25 pwm except the back fan (near the io) which is a NF-A14 PWM the top has a 360 mm radiator behind the fans what's the ideal config for the fans for cooling and should I tweek the fan curve

Also how do I cable manage all this and get them all pwm controlled?

 

I have a 7700x

And a 6950xt hope to move to a 7900xtx soon

i'd use the front 3 as intake, same with the back fan and then exhaust with the top rad

plug the fan cables into their headers (you should've gotten fan splitters with the noctua fans if you need teh splitters)

What about the fans under the GPU?

Those will be supplied by the bottom 120mm fan

Is the 216 designed specifically for chimney airflow?

AFAIK it's not but they do have an AIO so that's how I thought it could go

That could work too. I was just thinking that the front 200mm fans would supply enough air for it not to make too much of a difference

but depending on which AIO they have specifically it could look better at the front

@Thomas PetersonIf you don't mind some extra effort, try both @filpo's idea as well as putting the AIO on intake in the front. In that case, the rear and top would be exhaust, or you could put the front fan on top intake, too, if the airflow isn't positive (gently pushing air out of cracks, vents and holes). Doing that would also prevent that fan from sucking the air from the top fan on the AIO out of the case.
