OK $500 IS MY LIMIT including tax and shipping lmao i just wanna get a good enough gpu for gaming to last me about 3-4 years probably more nivida because im not the smartest with computers

Okay, smarts has nothing to do with it.  You're asking for OUR experienced opinion, so either trust us or don't.  I (and Guilty above) say AMD is just fine and awesome.  If you still want Nvidia, your call.

 

For you then, I would get a 6750XT for under $400 and tax will bring it to $400.  It's a solid card for even 1440p, and you save $100.

Up shit creek then sadly. "$450" and "good ray tracing for 3-4 years" don't go together in the same sentence. Only the 4070 is worth getting on the lowest end and they start at $520. I would recommend the 7700XT then. Great value but you wanting ray tracing also won't do. And for $500 most people would just get the 7800XT because it beats the 4070 in nearly everything, ray tracing coming close.

Problem is there is no good or even decent Nvidia GPU at this price point, NGreedia has no love for poor customers   

Go for a new 6800 non XT
