Samsung Fold Warranty help

Diddlydennis

Hope mods don't mind, but need some help and eyes on this on how to proceed:

USent my Fold for repair since it was under warranty. It's started developing the dreaded cracks that have been reported on tech sites. My phone while does have scruffs and dings, the phone works fine from the outer to the inner, there's no issues except for the cracks in the middle of the folding area. However, today received an email and Samsung are denying the repair and asking me to pay £519 for the inner screen repair.

Not sure what to do?. They're arguing because there is wear on the exterior that the damage is from that, however, the cracks are only developing in the middle fold area where you know, have to fold. Again, clearly a known hardware issue but they're not refusing to help

Asked for the phone back in the meantime, as I'm going to dispute the charges.

This guy had the same issue...

* Maybe don't buy an obvious stupid concept next time?  Folding screens?  Never saw what continually folding paper, metal or another material does?

Though to answer you, get it fixed, pay with a credit card, dispute charges.  Try your luck.

At the moment disputing charges, I have no problem paying if the inner fold was smashed from dropping. The inner screen fold works, but its developing a crack from being folded. However, Samsung are saying because there's ding an scruff marks on the outside, no cracks mind you they're saying that its because of that. However, there's many articles and owners who have cases with and without that still develop said issue.
