Im currently looking for a laptop for doing work on this will include cad and on the side some light gaming. I have a budget of preferably arround 800 and between 13 and 16in as well as this preferably metal chasis and/or lid and fairly thin and light as it will be in a bag.

Usual would not bother posting but i am not clued up on moble procesors.

I have got a list of a few but realy am not to sure whether they are any good for my needs.

The few i have got are framework 13 (amd), lenovo think book 14 gen 4, lenovo idea pad pro 5 gen 8 14"/16", lenovo Yoga 7 Gen 8 16" amd, dell Vostro 15 Laptop (or other similar spec vostro), dell New Inspiron 16 Laptop(or other similar spec inspiron) and had a thought about a think pad due to there durability but are hard to get hold of.

I think you should search eBay for "thinkpad quadro" and choose the best option.

And definitely cross-reference Wikipedia and Reddit to get a better idea of the models you narrow down.

I used a university-supplied ThinkPad W-series for 2011-2015 and it got the job done.
