not really

the 6650 xt performs better. And you should really be able to get the 6700 xt for the same price as the 3060

Which GPU is better:

1. NVIDIA: MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 12G OC GDDR6 192-bit 12 GB pci_e Express Gen 4

2. AMD: MSI Radeon Rx 6650 Xt Gaming X 8G GDDR6 Pci Express Gen 4 X8 Gaming Graphics Card,pci_e_x16,8 GB

Both are kind of the same price in my area, which do you think would be better in performance?

The NVIDIA GPU (12GB vRAM) has 4GB more vRAM than the AMD GPU (8GB vRAM)

The AMD GPU (2694 MHz) has more memory clock speed than the NVIDIA GPU (1807 MHz)

Does the vRAM or the Memory Clock Speed make any difference?

I will use an Intel i5 13600K with the build. So, is there possibility for more performance if I pair the AMD GPU with an AMD CPU?

Is there anything to know about the performance of the GPUs when overclocking?

ignore the clock speeds as they are not really comparable. there is not really any benafit with a amd cpu and gpu combo. i would get the 6650xt

Thanks for the opinion!

Also about the vRAM capacity, the 4GB doesnt matter?

And another question: If there can be more than one discrete GPU in a single computer

the vram at this class of gpu doesent matter much

i would still try and get a 6700 if you can

you can have 2 gpus in one pc but you shouldent as they wont work together to play your games

But one can split the the tasks right? Like one GPU controlling one application and the second GPU controlling the other application. Basically, I want to use the good GPU for gaming and the cheaper GPU for communication applications (Discord or Google Meet)

The Intel i5 13600K apparently has integrated graphics, so I can use the discrete GPU for gaming and the integrated GPU for communications?

Also when overclocking the processor, does the integrated GPU in the processor also get overclocked?

And finally, do the discrete GPUs support overclocking (preferably through a software or through BIOS)?

Unless you're running Discord or google meet on a 16K monitor whilst playing games, either GPU alone will be able to render them without a single sign of demand. Web based apps are rarely every demanding.

You can pretty much only have one rendering device that renders everything. iGPU for rendering workloads and SLI as just different enough that they aren't part of the equation.

Yea, pretty much all GPU's support overclocking but results may vary greatly.

Yes but also this has basically no performance impact. Also this creates cpu overhead as it needs to work harder as well as reduces the pcie lanes for the main gpu.

It's basically not a gain and performance will stay the same all that will go up is the used power.

no. i tried this on my pc but it resulted in worse performance. on your laptop however your laptop choses between the igpu and the d gpu and it can switch between them so that when your not playing games it uses the igpu resulting in better battery life and when ur using the d gpu it uses that for better performance

On laptop it's an ENTIRELY different situation where the igpu and dedicated gpu HAVE to work together.
