Dualboot W10 + W10 AtlasOS MBR/GPT confusion.

aleclee

so, i'm planning to install W10 Atlas OS (in dualboot 1x W10 (current) + 1x W10 AtlasOS).

but I can't seem to get past the first step of installation. With RUFUS, I have a W10 iso of 22h2. Tried both option MBR and GPT in rufus. Reboot laptop, load from USB. And on the step where I can select partitions in Windows setup there is a little error notification saying: The selected disk has an MBR partition table. One EFI stystems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks.

How can I fix this problem?

Seems like you already have a OS on the wanted partition part? Try making a separate partition for the desired OS. Preferably on a seperate drive?

Install them onto separate disks.
