Budget (including currency): around $1k USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I play mostly league of legends (I know I don’t need a fancy computer for that). I would also like to play star field on my 1440p monitor with 144hz refresh rate (I know I won’t get 144 fps on star field but just sharing what monitor I have).

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I currently have an about 10 year old prebuilt Alienware PC which is not running as well as it used to and would like an upgrade. Also, no peripherals needed.

Here is the pc I built with my limited knowledge. Please pick it apart and help me get the better value. I’m open to other cases but I think the SO might like this one haha.

The list is pretty good, I would buy a used 6800 of ebay, you should be able to find one for around $330 USD. I would get a cheaper case like the one in the parts list below to get that better GPU.
