Safety Concern About The WEP 858D Hot Air Rework Soldering Station

DuckAmuck

I'm considering buying the WEP 858D Hot Air Rework Soldering Station sold by WEP TOOLS on Amazon. However, when reading about other models of the 858D, it seems that there's a major safety concern where the grounds weren't wired properly and live current could escape into the user. This model of the 858D is advertised as being safer and some amazon reviews about the station said the grounds were "all perfect".

my questions are:

should I still be concerned about the grounding issue with this specific model?

if grounding is still an issue, what are some alternative hot air rework stations that are worth considering?

I look forward to hearing your guys' thoughts on this.

you should have safety concerns every time you buy tools, especially when you buy no-name tools on amazon, especially if those tools are worryingly cheap.
