If you have a 1080p monitor, it's an okay option, I daily drive an RTX 3060 ti and it runs amazing, I can get 165 fps in almost every game (I got around 80 fps in Jedi: Survivor).

Main rig specs:
i5-9600KF

32 GB Corsair Vengeance 3600 MHz

Crucial P3 Plus 2TB NVMe

MSI RTX 3060 Ti (GDDR6X Ver.)

MSI Z390-A PRO

The 4060 Ti is roughly 10% faster than the 3060 Ti. According to PCPP you're still paying around 18% more for the 8 GB model and 32% more for the 16 GB model. You'll have to decide whether you're OK paying 18% more for a 10% performance uplift.

Alternatively, you could probably get a better deal on an AMD card, provided you don't care about ray tracing and/or frame generation (at least until FSR3 comes around).
