This is my first build, and I apologize in advance -- I am a complete rookie.

Here is my build list.

MB - Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC (rev. 1.4)

RAM - Corsair Vengeance (2x8GB) DDR4

CPU - Ryzen 5 4600G

GPU - Zotac Gaming RTX 3060

PSU - EVGA 500BR

M.2 WD_Black 1TB SSD

Was very particular putting this thing together, and i have been through it 4 or 5 times now double checking. When I power on, all the fans come on and run fine. My GPU appears to have some lighting on the outboard face (ZotacGaming logo) but it is not lighting up. When i first powered up, fans cycled on and off a few times, then I got a quick display and it quickly disappeared. Monitor went into standby mode. Let it sit for a few more minutes, nothing happened. pushed the power button to try again, power button wont turn the system off. the only way to turn system off is to switch off the power supply. Today, i put the latest BIOS update on a flash drive and went through the Q-Flash process. LED flashed for a few minutes, and I made sure to give it plenty of time before I removed USB and reassembled. Hooked up to monitor again and Im having the same issue.

I was so excited to get into this PC gaming thing, but this is quite discouraging. Any help appreciated. thanks.

UPDATE -- I have tried a brand new PSU, all connections are good.

99% sure I've got my front panel connections correct. I am plugging my display directly into the GPU. I HAVE taken the gpu out and tried booting with just the CPU (integrated graphics).
