Probotix v90 mk2

TubsAlwaysWins

Someone is giving me a Probotix v90 mk2. I dont know a whole lot about it other than it has some issues with its limit switches. Just kind of thinking ahead, would it be possible for me to cut metal with this? Nothing serious, just thin(er) aluminum sheets, along with the usual wood, acrylic, etc.

The closest ive come to CNC is a 3d printer, which is obviously a different class of machine.

Thoughts? Hoping to get somewhere between 1-5mm (MAX) aluminum. Dont expect it to go through any kind of steel other than maybe shim stock.

Any CAD/CAM software you recommend? Idk if it will come with any, or if I need to source some. Ive only really used TinkerCAD but plan to get into Solidworks.

Thanks
