What is going on with Opera?  42 processes for 2.5GB RAM?

 

I mean you're at IDLE, but you've also got a shitload of process in the background. You even have a Settings window open?

 

Until you clean it all up, it's going to use RAM.

 

IDLE doesn't mean nothing is happening.

 

It's concerning that you don't understand this.

Lately I've seen my fps has been kinda low, and I realized my ram is almost at max when in game, after I closed the game I realized that my memory is sitting at 57% at idle, I found it rather strange, as my user is only using 4.16gb of ram, can anyone help? (32gb ram btw)

I also did a run of malwarebytes, no issues.

If for example you pause a 4K YouTube video, it will still likely store the rest of the preloaded and already played video on RAM, etc.

Bah, don't sell yourself short. You figured out how to install and use all those apps 😉

 

Just realize RAM is what apps load into and it can fill up with everything you have open.
