760, but i would aim for a R9 280, will handily beat the 760 for a good price.

Yeah, don't bother with the 4GB card. Go with a 280X. I generally like AMD cards more, but in all honesty it just depends what games you want with your card. If you are going for a 270X, go with the 2GB version, you wont use the 4GB unless you are editing massive video files or fanatically using Photoshop. Furthermore, if you have the money to spend on a 760, spend $10 more and buy a 280X, it will beat the 760 (In most cases).

In all honesty you don't need much more than a 270X though if you are just playing regular games at 1080p. I have a 7870 XT, and it plays everything I have on maxed graphics at least at 40FPS. But if you do want the 60FPS experience go with the 280X.

Definitely go with an ASUS GTX 760 DCUII http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DBPKEOI or a Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X OC http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FLMKNE0 if you can stretch the budget to the 280X.

Get an R9 280. It's consistently faster than a 760 and even faster than a 770 once overclocked. You also get 3GB of memory, Mantle support and three games for free.

Note : HD 7950 = R9 280.
