OPNSense behind another firewall dns from the first

Hello all, 

I am tinkering around with pfsense and opnsense trying to learn them and use them in my home lab. 

With pfsense I was able to add a domain override and use asus.router to find machines on the main router. 

I tried this in opnsense and it didn't seem to work. 

Does anyone have some guidance on how that should be setup?
