I need some help with a video output problem that has just occurred with my desktop computer that I built about 10 months ago.

It was running fine since I built it and I hadn't had any issues until now. A couple of days ago I went to go on and for some reason my monitor wouldn't boot up. At first I thought the computer was turned off, but it wasn't so I checked to see if my crappy vga connector was plugged in. It was, at both ends. So I tried restarting my computer, didn't work, tried a different monitor, didn't work, tried a different cable, didn't work, I tried the hdmi output, didn't work. The computer still seems to run fine, like my mouse and keyboard lights up like it should, it does all the normal things it should, but for some reason the video won't output. I don't know if it's something I have done or if it's a more serious problem like something has broken. If something was broken it would be great if anyone could say what it might possibly be or anything else I could try.
