PC doesn't boot after installing new CPU

Hi, today I bought an Ryzen 7 5700x brand new to install in my A320M-K motherboard (temporally while I save money to replace it). Up until now, I been using an Ryzen 5 3400g with no problems.

Once the new CPU is installed, the PC didn't turn on, so I asummed that it is a BIOS update that I didn't downloaded, so I install the 3400g back to update the BIOS, however, the PC still didn't turn on. I built the PC back from the scratch (since that fixed an issue that I had with a GPU before) and still doesn't boot.

Anyone had similar issues?

This isn't my expertise since I don't have a desktop, but due to watching enough videos I might have an idea.

Are any of the pins on the socket bent or missing? You might have also knocked a PSU cable loose, so you should check for that too.

Which GPU? The display cables plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard?

Reseat the CPU again, clear CMOS and try booting it again. Are you also using a dedicated GPU? If not you will need one as the 5700X doesn't have integrated graphics.

No, both CPUs are in good condition with no bent pins.

I have an RTX 3070, and yes, the display cables are plugged to the GPU, but the PC doesn't even boots, so it's not a display thing I would assume.

There's a way to clear CMOS without booting? It doesn't show me even the BIOS. And yes, I have an RTX 3070.

Yes, there are a few.

Easiest is to make sure your PC is off and unplugged from the wall. Then remove the CMOS battery from your motherboard. Press your power button a couple times to remove any residual power in the board, then let it sit for a minute or two. That should clear your CMOS.

 

Some boards also have CMOS reset buttons but it's a feature more common on newer higher end boards.

Most have a clear CMOS (clear rtc) jumper too.

Just tried it and still won't boot.

I'm thinking in taking it to a technician tomorrow since I don't have a clue of what to do.
