5700x is a very nice CPU to add to this rig. It compliments the RTX 2070 quite well 🙂

To me, spending 100 dollars on RGB is not worth it.  Some flashing lights that bother you in your peripheral vision when you try to game? No thanks.  I'm old and grumpy.
What were you thinking in terms of RGB?  Some RGB fans?  I would use the 100 bucks towards a 1080p 144hz monitor. The 2070 Super can do that quite well.

You should probably use that 100 on a better monitor/peripheral

Or you could sell that 3200g and get some rgb

5600 non X is enough for what you going to use it for. Minecraft doesn't scale beyond 4 threads. And then again, i would rather go and throw that case off and get case with included ARGB fans. You can find a lot of them on 100AUD and solve the issue of airflow, refer back to my previous post.

Also, remember to press quote to get a response from someone.

My case Is fine! No issue with airflow, secondly replacing case is risky for someone who has never even built a pc thirdly its risky in general, fourthly stupid idea the case i a good case it has no issues at least with the ryzen 3 3200g i have right now.

Now issue with airflow

...that you really cant fix. H510 is inherently flawed in its design, the solid front panel doesnt have a big enough side cut out to open up for it, and the grille for both exhaust side on back and top is not porous enough. The H5 and the H5 Flow fixed these issues but theyre not good enough for big GPUs, hence why i usually recommend that if you want NZXT sense of design you really better off going Hyte Y60, or if you have to get NZXT, id get the bigger H7 Flow or H9.

Trust me, throwing more fans in it wont fix it.

Its like building it, but in reverse. Start by unplugging cables first. Youre underestimating how well built most components are and how resistent they are to the more normal elements like accidental drop from like 30cm, or static electricity. All you need is a philips head screwdriver, and a flat piece of surface thats not carpet.

Well now we're talking my rhyme at least. If we ditch the RGB talk and purely go for performance component, at 500$ we can go pretty far. Airflow issue is bad, but bad components cant be made good with just better cooling.

From here you can sell that RTX 2070 for around 280-310 AUD. That should net us enough money for the average priced used RX 6700XT, at around 450 AUD. That is quietly a pretty good upgrade to the GPU performance, and if you already have a 550-650W PSU (which huge chance that used PC already has), you can just keep using it. Remember to update your BIOS to at least 7B79vHC version.

You can stick to 1TB Nvme SSD and get the 5700X, but you really only gain in frame time when you have a pretty heavy multitasking task due to Java Minecraft piss poor multithreaded performance, where it uses 4 threads at best. If you need an upgrade on that front, you'll want to go for 5800X3D, or go all the way with Ryzen 7000 series.
