3090 temps

Hello I recently purchased a asus tuf 3090 OC edition, my temps are 45-50C chillin but under heavy load both dram 1 and 3 are aorund 50-65 C but the DRAM 2 gets as hot as 96-98C and the temp it self its aroound 65-70C. Am I just being paranoid and this is normal? It only gets that with 4k gaming but when drop it down the temps are perfect. Even at 4k gaming the only temp that scares me is that 95C DRAM 2 temp the other regular GPU temp and DRAM 1 and 3 temps are normal just wanna rephrase that. Thank you in advancea for saving my sanity.

DRAM 2 is the backside memory modules. If you touch your backplate you will feel it (might burn your fingers though so watch out). It's normal. I think memory modules are rated for around 110C anyway.

 

TLDR: It's no big deal.

If you are that concerned just point a fan at the gpu backplate assuming the vram chips have thermal pads to contact the backplate
