NEED HELP

hello all

 

last night i went to play some battlefield on my pc. i usaully use the razer tutarus because my keyboard just broke i pluged in thr tutarus and nothing happend no lights no anything so i tried every other USB port available and it didnt work at all so i tried plugging it in to my laptop and my laptop just shut down completly. i also tried plugging in my mouse to my desktop USB port after the tuarus had been plugged in and it didint work. ANYONE HAVE IDEAS ABOUT WHAT HAPPEND TO THE RAZER TUTARUS AND HOW I CAN FIX IT AND MY USB PORTS PLEASE!!!!

from your laptop shutting down completely it sounds like theres a short between the ground and 5v+ pins..  i would recommend you take it apart and try to figure out whats causing this.. it should be easy to spot damage.. if you dont really understand electronic stuff then its probably not worth likely voiding the warranty and see if you can get a replacement
