Mouse with horizontal scrolling?

Is there any good mice with some kind of horizontal scroll wheel (not scroll wheel tilt since I want to be able to control the speed of the scroll). I've been using the old Apple Mighty Mouse from 2006 (yes - you read that right!) since it has horizontal scrolling on the small wheel and I find the Logitech MX Master-series a bit too heavy. Must work on macOS.

Would using shift modifier to change scroll direction be a suitable substitute for a second scroll wheel for your usecase?

Thanks for the tip, however I prefer a single hand solution for horizontal scrolling since I do it a lot.

You pretty much only have Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad. Scrolling is intentionally shit on third party mice on MacOS. Also for one handed, you might find side button binded to shift as a good one, i personally use that for FPS movement but i also use it for usual browsing shenanigans.

MX Master has good horizontal scrolling but the weight is too much for me. Considering how useful horizontal scrolling is in for example video editing timelines and design work I’m surprised there’s so few alternatives on the market. Thanks for the tip about the button mapping though!
