iPhone camera acting weird?

My iphone has been yelling at me that my camera is being detected as a non Apple part, and won’t let me use my ultra wide camera. I’ve never even had my phone worked on before, can someone explain what is going on here?

It could be a defective part or probably something went loose in the device. Have you dropped it on a hard surfaces before or any contacts with liquid? The phone may be detecting some moisture on the contact pins.. Or maybe a certain component got damaged.

 

Well, unfortunately you don't really have any options besides bringing it to an apple service center.

Yeah I’ve dropped it pretty hard a couple times. I’d just assumed since there wasn’t any external damage there wouldn’t be any internal damage. 
 

thanks for the second opinion. Now I’ve just gotta go sell my cat to be able to afford taking my phone to the Apple service center.
